1. Shape the shoe to fit the horse's hoof.
2. Place the shoe on the pad and mark the outline.
3. Feed the pad into the Duval Pad Cutter from the side labeled "Duval Pad Cutter, Yucaipa, CA," turning the handle to cut the pad.
4. Important: Do not cut pads while they are mounted on the shoes to avoid damaging the tempered steel blades.
